1 : Client new Job

Ohm have excellent partnerships with their clients

We work in partnership with our clients that are searching for a consultancy that delivers permanent and temporary recruitment solutions in the technical, engineering, commercial vehicles, automotive, grounds maintenance, environmental & waste and construction industries however we will provide recruitment solutions outside of these industries, just ask for more details

Be assured that you are in the best possible hands and the process will always be managed with honesty, integrity & diligence.

Where possible you will be visited on site before your consultant commences any screening or selection for your vacancy so that we can get a real feel for the cultural and technical fit required for you, we will understand how did the vacancy come about, was it through expansion and growth, replacing someone that has progressed internally or simply moved on.

Detailed job description will be taken to really understand your needs with specific candidate testing to ensure the right candidates are selected and short listed for you, we will also offer a hands on approach or HR function, for example we can offer onsite support and conduct inductions on your behalf

2 : Finding the perfect candidate

We actively go to market to resource the best possible talent, whether it’s via our database search or through advertising campaigns, social media or word of mouth with our contacts within the industry

3 : Interview

We can provide candidate specific testing from verbal reasoning, numeracy, psychometric & competency based ongoing assessments

It’s important to know the candidates & clients expectations before the interview stage and that they both match, after potential candidates have been screened there may be a shortlist of good people to present, we want to ensure relevant details or preparations are in place to give both parties the best possible outcome on the day, far too often the candidate does not have the correct information because the consultant working on their behalf didn’t take the time to understand their specific needs or the customer’s specific needs, We eliminate any doubts for both of our clients & candidates to ensure a successful outcome is secured first time

4 : The offer

We make the informal offer on the clients behalf ensuring all new starter details are submitted with documents upon receipt of a formal acceptance by our candidate, we try to eliminate the potential discussion of counter offers made by the candidates resent employer and obtain at least 2 written/verbal references for peace of mind.

We also carry out detailed employment referencing, identification and rights to work checks to meet Home Office regulations and legislation.

5 : After care, Ongoing service

During the candidates initial employment we ensure that there is regular contact, we understand that communication is key and regularly check on the candidates progress
